Vice President – Finance and Capital Markets

Job Description:

The Vice President – Finance and Capital Markets, has two primary responsibilities; 1) sourcing debt and equity for Lucescu Realty sale transactions, and 2) head of the Company’s relationships and dealings with all types of financial institutions, including, but not limited to, being a part of our internal Financial Services Group.


    Relationship Management:

    • Interface with Lucescu Realty clients when obtaining debt and equity financing.
    • Develop relationships with Lenders, Special Servicers, Receivers, Government Agencies, and Financial Institutions.
    • Act as a primary point of contact and relationship manager. Business Development:
    • Make sales presentations and develop customized proposals to obtain engagements.
    • Establish a pipeline of transaction opportunities for Lucescu Realty and source advisory service engagements.
    • Develop third party opportunities for debt and financing. Knowledge:
    • Remain abreast of fluctuations in the capital markets and submarket activity.
    • Provide strategic leadership and demonstrate creativity in capital structures, investment options, and forecasting.


    • Report pipeline progress to Company executives accurately and timely.
    • Communicate with the Lucescu Realty team accurate timelines and facilitate quality end-products. Skills:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting. Advanced degrees preferred.
    • 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate, specifically in sales and in the banking industry.
    • Existing strong contact list with established bank relationships.
    • Track record of successful sales experience.
    • Sound understanding of commercial real estate and financial products and services.
    • Experience with properties over $25m in value in the categories of retail, office, and distressed assets.
    • Extensive knowledge of the Southwestern region.
    • Investment banking experience a plus.
    • Strong people skills with high integrity and a team attitude.
    • This person is also expected to have outstanding written and oral communication skills reflective of the senior management team.

    Salary and Benefits Information:

    This is a salaried or non-salaried position; depending on the Applicant’s needs, experience, and abilities, with the potential for commissions or annual bonuses based on individual and company performance.
